Booking
When booking with The Flying Nail Tech you agree to the terms and conditions listed in the policies stated on this page. You also agree that once completing the Consultation Form that all information provided is true and correct to your knowledge.
Please try to complete your consultation form at least 24hrs prior to your appointment. This allows me to ensure that the service booked is the correct one and make any adjustments where necessary. Please bear in mind that you may still be turned away if the service selected may compromise your nail health.
No Shows
A 15 minute grace period is applied to all appointments, unless I am notified of a significant delay and I am able to accommodate an amendment. If your delay is longer than 15 minutes and I am not notified your appointment will be cancelled.
No shows will result in 100% of the cost of the service booked.
Cancellations
Cancellations made between 24-48h before the appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the cost of the service booked. Cancellations made within 24h of the appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the cost of the service booked.
If you are unwell please do not attend your appointment. If you do attend your appointment unwell you will be turned away with a charge of 100% of the cost of the service booked.
If you attend an appointment with product on the nail that was not applied by me a cost of 100% of the service booked will be applied and you will be turned away.
Under 18s
The minimum age for any service provided by The Flying Nail Tech is 16. Any bookings made for anyone under the age of 16 will be cancelled.
Parent/Guardian information must be provided at the bottom of the Consultation Form. If this is not provided the appointment will be cancelled. Contact will be made with the parent before the scheduled appointment. If contact cannot be made the appointment will be cancelled. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the appointment by a Parent/Guardian.
Allergies
If you have previously suffered from a reaction from nail products of any kind and have not visited a dermatologist for diagnosis I will be unable to offer service to you of any kind. By completing the Consultation Form you agree that you are not aware of an allergy to nail products of any kind, unless stated otherwise.
If any symptoms of a nail allergy do occur following an appointment with The Flying Nail Tech you must contact me immediately for a full removal of the product. This will be completed free of charge. Following this, you must contact your GP for allergy testing before undertaking any further treatment.
Nail Art
Please ensure that you have booked the correct category of nail art. Examples for each category can be found on my Price List page, alternatively you can contact me using the contact form or via direct message on Instagram. Selecting the correct category of nail art ensures that the correct amount of time is blocked out of my schedule to complete this work.
If you select to have Simple Nail Art but were wishing to have Advanced Nail Art, and this is not amended before the date of the appointment, I will be unable to complete Advanced Nail Art on the day.
Repairs
Repairs will be made free of charge if they occur in the first 72h from the time of the appointment. You must contact me inside this 72h window. Any repairs required after this window will be at a fee of £2 per nail, as found on my price list.
Soak Off’s
Soak off’s can only be done on work completed by myself. If you incorrectly book this service and do not amend before the day of the appointment a charge of 100% of the cost of the service will be applied.
A soak off is required for anyone attending an appointment for Gel Manicure due to being unable to infill gel polish. A discounted rate for this service can be found under Gel Manicure with Soak Off on my price list. This service is for returning clients where the gel manicure has been completed by me only. If you a returning client who fits the above criteria but have not booked Gel Manicure with Soak Off, you will be charged the Gel Soak Off rate found on my price list.
If you have not booked a soak off for product that was applied by me and require one this must be amended before the date of the appointment.
